Chinese Pharmaceutical Investment Delegation Visited Ethiopia and Kenya to Explore Business Opportunities in Health

Headed by Dr. Xu Ming, vice president of CCCMHPIE, a Chinese pharmaceutical investment delegation comprised of six competent companies Mindray, Conler, DESANO, CRMI, Shang Ring and ServiPharma) visited Ethiopia and Kenya from 19 to 24 Oct, 2015 to seek in depth cooperation opportunities in health sector between China and targeted country to accelerating the overall accessibility of Pharmaceuticals and health commodities in Africa. Representatives from WHO, UNAIDS, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and other NGOs join the mission and provide relevant support.

The 5th International Roundtable on China-Africa Collaboration was Held in Beijing

On 26-28 March 2015, the 5th International Roundtable on China-Africa Collaboration, co-hosted by the Tsinghua University Research Center for Public Health and the China Chamber of Commerce for Import and Export of Medicines and Health Products (CCCMHPIE), was held in Beijing.

On March 24, at the occasion of the visit of Ms.Matshidiso Rebecca Moeti, WHO Regional Director for Africa, CCCMHPIE held a workshop together with the WHO China Office to help WHO experts better understand status quo and needs of the Chinese health industry.
